There are different understanding about the term. So in this article I will explain the different between learning by notation (sheet music) and learning by ear. After reading this article you should have a clear understanding of what it means to learn to play piano by ear and be able to decide which method or mix of the two you’d most like to use when learning piano.
Perfect Pitch or Relative Pitch
Learning by ear is basically done when someone listens to a song and then attempts to reproduce the song until they get it right. This may take longer for beginners then more experienced piano players.

Drums are made of drum shells.
A drum shell is:
1.Any cylindrical object (drum shell); or 2.Object with an open top.
It has a membrane normally called a head or skin stretched across it, known as a membranophone. The drum is struck on the membrane to produce a sound.
What Are Drum Shells Made of
Any material that can be formed or carved as mentioned above. But the main material used to make drum shells of reasonable quality is wood laminates from:
1. Maple; 2. Beech; 3. Birch; or 4. Lauan.
Why Wood
It has inherent characteristics that produce pleasant sounds. Other materials like metal, bamboo or plastic are used to make musical instruments but for certain instruments [such as drums], wood seems to be just the choice material.
Generally, the harder and denser a material is, the more evenly it will vibrate. Hence, the harder the wood, the better it sounds.

There are numerous stories all over the internet about “how to make money online” or “start your own web business”. Actually if you searched Google for those terms I doubt you could even go through the amount of results in your entire lifetime. Now whether any of these methods works or not is irrelevant. Without a web-host and a free SSL certificate, you will be hard pressed to make any sales at all.
First off, many do not even know what an SSL certificate is. Anytime a purchase transaction is done on the internet, it is transmitted over a publicly viewable connection. This means it is possible for someone to intercept the transmission and view (read: steal) the contents without anyone knowing this is being done. For obvious reasons, anyone selling items on the internet who allows their customers credit card numbers, addresses, and personal information to be stolen would not be in business long. Well, that and become the target of numerous impossible ..Read more

Looking for some alternatives to the regular EADGBE tuning? Are you trying out slide guitar? Check these tips!
1. Drop D: DADGBE
Drop the 6th string 2 semitones to match the pitch of the open 4th (D) an octave below. By lowering the 6th string you are expanding the guitar’s register, therefore allowing you to create a bigger sounding D major chord (DADADF#). You can also use the low D to sustain chords or melodies.
“Goodbye Blue Sky”, included in Pink Floyd’s The Wall album is a great example of this technique.
2. Modal or Celtic: DADGAD
In addition to the drop D, tune down the B and E top strings two semitones. This results in an open D suspended fourth chord, keeping this tuning from being considered either major or minor.
Mostly heard in Celtic and folk music, it found its way to rock and other genres. Remember Kashmir by Led Zeppelin?
3. Open D major: DADF#AD
Tune down the 3rd string (G) a half-step ..Read more
